Resurrection—this word is the center of our Easter celebration. Jesus’ resurrection from the dead is arguably the defining point of Christian faith. But how else is resurrection experienced?
In Luke 20:36, we are called “children of the resurrection.” What does this mean? Is it a reference to a future event, a resurrection of our spiritual selves? Or might it have implications for our lives and the lives of others here and now?

2021-2022 scholarship applications are due Monday, April 5
No April fooling. Women of the ELCA’s scholarship applications for the 2021–22 academic year are due next week, Monday, April 5.
Scholarships are offered in two categories: Lutheran laywomen and ordained ministry.
Applications and all supporting documents must be emailed to Women of the ELCA by April 5, 2021. Scholarships recipients will be notified in late June.
