 | Women of the ELCA’s executive board established strategic objectives for the remainder of the 2020-2023 triennium focusing on anti-racism. They also approved launching a major campaign during a specially called meeting on June 23. The objectives and campaign came from task forces appointed by churchwide president Lisa Plorin at the board’s April 24 meeting. Read the story. |

| Summer 2021 Bible study is free! Gather is offering (as always) its summer Bible study for free download. The three-session study “Just love part 2: Just L.I.F.E. (Liberation Is For Everyone!)” was written by Angela Khabeb, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The Bible study series is inspired, in part, by Jesus’ proclamations: “If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36) and “I came that they might have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
